What is a private reading and what to expect

People have very different ideas about what to expect from a private reading or sitting. Many people phone to ask for the "fortune teller" and I can assure you I am not a fortune teller. I am a Spiritual Medium, which means that I link with your loved ones from the spirit world to obtain evidence of their survival.

A private reading normally lasts between 30 and 45 minutes depending upon the communication. Initially a psychic link is made with the sitter to ascertain aspects of their life currently. This usually highlights issues in their lives for which they require guidance. I then become aware of someone from the spirit world who wishes to make contact. Sometimes this is not who the sitter expects. It is always advisable to have no predetermined idea of who you want to contact you as this sometimes blocks the communication.

It is now my job as a Medium to ensure that you are in no doubt who the contact is by giving you specific evidence of the spirit communicator or communicators as there is usually more than one person who wants to make contact. The loved one communicating usually but not always has some kind of message for you and this is usually based on the sitters current life issues.

However, it is important to remember that although the spirit communicator now resides in the spirit world, that they do not sprout wings and halos and the advice they give is what they would have given you if they had still been here on the earth. In essence you still have free will and should make your own decisions in life and not depend on the spirit world to make them for you. Some sittings are extremely emotional for the sitter and just the evidence and the presence of the communicator is enough for them to perhaps move on with their grieving process.

There are people who live their lives by going to see clairvoyants and hang on every word they say. Please allow yourself to be open minded and at all times, in charge of your own life.

Sadly Ken has recently made his transition.

Margaret Claughton. CSNU. DSNU. Many years ago Margaret was one of my students on the DSNU course. Now very few attained the high marks but She was one that got the hons. Margaret delivers a beautiful lecture on "Aspects of Mediumship" Easy to understand, easy to apply, that which you gain as a result of listening to her is worth swimming the Atlantic, not just flying it.

Elaine Bevan. The President of the Southern District Council and the Totton Spiritualist Church. Elaine will be enlightening us on how the Spiritualist National Union works. Members of the Way Memorial Temple will undoubtedly recognize her high standards.

Michael Colmer. As a Journalist he is used to digging deep for facts. Non more than into Spiritualism. Michael will be taking us on tour of the ancient sites of Avebury and Stonehenge, enthralling us with the happenings that surround those places. He is the assistant editor of Psychic World and once worked for the famous Maurice Barbanell of Silver Birch fame. I had to really twist his arm for his valuable time as he is so busy in his continuous search into Spiritualism.

Stephen Smith. Is a renowned Healer and an excellent medium too. Stephen devotes a deal of his time into helping the needy. I could not let the AASC have this workshop without his presence. You will never know what Stephen can do unless you meet him.

Cheryl Brennan. One of the youngest members of the team and already she has followers. Not just people but Churches. She has a legal background so once again one who deals in facts not trash. You want Spiritual Communication? Be there. Cheryl's occupation now? Full time medium. How many are there?
